What we store
- Your conversations, so you can come back to them.
- Your email address and name, from Google, if you sign in. We never see your Google password.
- For each message: which of our filters matched, which model answered, and how long it took. This is what lets us fix wrong answers.
- Your IP address, for abuse prevention.
How long we keep it
Your conversations stay until you delete them. Separately, we keep a review copy of each message — what you asked, what we answered, and what our filters did — for 90 days. After that the text is deleted automatically and we keep only the anonymous part: which filters matched, which model answered, and how long it took. That record has no message text and no IP address in it, and it is what lets us tell whether a change to our filtering actually helped.
If you delete a conversation, we delete the review copy of its text at the same time, rather than waiting out the 90 days.
Who can see it
Messages that our filters flag — a possible jailbreak attempt, an answer we replaced, or anything you report with the thumbs-down button — are reviewed by the people who build Kosher.Chat. That review is how the filtering gets better. We do not read conversations for any other reason.
Who else it goes to
Your messages are sent to the AI provider that generates the answer, under a business agreement that prohibits using them to train their models. Payments go through Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run ads.
Deleting things
Delete a conversation from the sidebar and it is gone — both the copy you see and the review copy described above. To delete your account and everything in it, message us and we will do it.
